High-pressure polymeric fittings are useful in applications involving proteins, peptides, and other samples of biological origin where metal systems may interact with samples.
All high-pressure polymeric fittings are manufactured from high-quality inert polymers to exacting tolerances. Most are rated for use up to 350 bar (5000 psi) with fingertight nuts, which is well beyond the burst strength of most PEEK tubing. Fittings made with special PEEK-HT can be used up to 1000 bar (14,500 psi).
