Waste Caps – GLS80 Threads

GLS80 waste caps fit all bottles or canisters with GLS80 thread in order to comply with waste handling regulations and to prevent evaporation of volatile compounds. They have four ports with ¼-28 thread and a fifth port with 10M x 1 thread for a barbed adapter or 1/2-20 thread for 1/4" tubing.

GLS80 waste caps seal the container with an O-ring behind a PTFE lip, so the O-ring is therefore not a wetted part. Unused ports should be closed with plugs.

A bottom-sealing barbed adapter to connect 4, 6, or 8 mm ID tubing can be ordered separately.

A VICI Jour waste cap package Includes:

• 1 cap, GLS80 thread
• 1 O-ring
• 1 set: 1/16" nut/ferrule/color-sleeve adapter
• 3 sets: 1/8" nut/ferrule/color-sleeve adapter

Caps with 1/2-20 thread add:

• 1 1/2-20 plug
• 1 1/2-20 nut for 1/4" tubing
• 1 1/2-20 collapsible ferrule for 1/4" tubing

NOTE: One port must be reserved for the Safety Exhaust Filter or the Safety Air Inlet Valve with Filters.
